One of the most unique features about two of our programs, Top Dog and Dream Dog, is that we Train Your Dog For You! Letting the professionals do what they do best, train your dog, means fast and exceptional results so that your dog is listening and obeying quickly which means you will once again be happy that you chose to have a dog! Having your dog learn good manners in-home means they will obey at home and you won’t have to haul your dog into the car to make a scheduled lesson, which means less activities on your schedule while still gaining a calm and responsive dog!
One of the big differences in the programs is that in our Star Dog Program, we are teaching you to train your dog. While in the other two programs, Top Dog and Dream Dog, we train your dog for you! Another distinction is how much time we spend with the dog as well as how much follow up support you receive. The more time, the faster and more reliable your dog’s behaviors will be which means you will soon be enjoying lovely walks and having friends enter the house without being knocked over! With follow up support, you won’t have to worry about your dog’s training slipping nor worry about how to deal with any new issues, because we will be there to assist you so that you will quickly have your dog back on track.
1. Star Dog Program (teaching you to train your dog)
Imagine peacefully walking your dog through the neighborhood on a loose leash instead of them dragging you down the street, pulling your arm out of socket.
Instead of feeling infuriated with your dog because they are ignoring you and running away, visualize your dog coming when called so that you aren’t late getting off to work.
If you have the desire, time and mechanics to train your own dog with the assistance of a professional, then the Star Dog Program is for you. The trainer will meet with you weekly at your home, making sure to focus on the skills and unwanted behaviors that you want addressed. You will observe as the trainer introduces the dog to the behavior and then you will be taught how to reinforce and solidify the skill with the dog. It will be the pet parent’s responsibility to practice with the dog throughout the week. One week later at the following session, any questions or needed adjustments are addressed before new skills are added.
This program is typically completed in 4 weeks and includes:
- 4 Private In-Home Classes (Once per week, teaching you how to train your dog)
- 2 months of virtual support (so that you can rest assured we will be available to help with any problems that may pop up)
- 4 Complimentary Practice & Play Group Sessions (a once-a-month single group session to help you maintain, refine and stay on track with your dog’s new behaviors)

2. Top Dog Program (train your dog for you)
In this program you’ll receive the benefits of the Jumpstart Program plus much more with significantly less effort on your part! Imagine your dog being fully taught for you, in the comfort of your home so that you don’t have to figure out how to train your dog.
Now you can relax and reap the benefits of a well-behaved dog, educated for you by a professional! Having the trainer do what she does best (train the dog) means you will see quick and reliable results in less time and with minimal work on your part. No need to send your beloved pet away to boarding school. They will learn fast and be more dependable in performing the newly learned behaviors when taught in home, where they need to be the best behaved.
Picture your polite dog: Coming quickly when called, Leaving your food alone when you are eating, Keeping feet off of you when you get home! No longer do you have a dog that ignores you but instead you get to experience a dog that immediately responds so that you feel confident that your dog will be safe and have lots of freedom because they come when called. We will meet with you weekly to show you how to get your dog to do the polite skills with you so that they will listen to you just as well as they listen to the trainer which means you have a dog that pays attention and willingly obeys.
This program is typically completed in 3 weeks and includes:
- One In-Home Pet Parent Training Session per week
- Two to three In-Home Train Your Dog For You Sessions per week
- One Refresher Lesson (with the intention of getting you the extra help you may need if your dog’s behavior starts slipping)
- 1 Full Year of virtual support (so that you can rest assured we will be available to help with any problems that may pop up)
- 12 Practice and Play Group Encounters (to help you maintain, refine and stay on track with your dog’s new good manners)

3. Dream Dog Program (train your dog for you)
Imagine the dog of your dreams who listens and responds to you even in the presence of guests as well as in public. A dog that was fully taught for you by a professional so that you get to sit back and reap the benefits! In this program you’ll receive the advantages of the Top Dog Program plus additional commands as well as quicker more proven responses from your dog. You will have a pet who no longer frustrates you with unwanted behaviors like pulling on the leash and ignoring you so that you can walk with the neighbor and their dog and you can take your dog on the hiking trail and know they will come when called, which means you can now experience the fun of a great dog companion that you previously thought might not be possible.
Picture your dog not jumping up on your guests and instead they are courteous when greeting so that you can be confident that once again you can invite friends over.

The trainer will meet with you weekly to show you how to get your dog to respond to you so that you can take your dog to the store or just for a nice walk around the block. You will be confident in knowing what to do with your dog so that you can have people over or be in public and still have a dog that will keep the leash loose and keep feet off of visitors.
This program is typically completed in 5 to 6 weeks and includes:
